Hinges and door latched are stainless steel. The doors swing open flush with cart ends.

Standard Specifications and Features
Body Structure
All welded 1 1/4" x 11 ga. extruded square corner posts with 3/4" x 14 ga.
round tube vertical closure on back, ends and 12" high on front of cart.
Patented structural channel horizontal members. Top is open with two cross
braces. Vertical closure tubes pass through horizontal members and are
welded at each contact point inside the structural channel. All structural
profiles are extruded aluminum with rounded corners.Shelf Structure
Base plus one convertible shelf of 16 ga. aluminum sheet with mill applies white baked enamel finish over an all welded aluminum extrusion frame. The shelf sheet is supported on all four sides in the frame, and has three lengthways support sections. The base has two lengthways support sections. (NOTE: Shelf and base are not as pictured) The shelf is flat, and is hinged with S/S piano hinge along the length of the cart back. The convertible shelf is supported on both ends by aluminum angle welded to the cart body. Two top braces situated 4" from each end of the cart are fitted with spring loaded latches to hold the shelf in the up position.Doors
Doors are similar to body structure, with full length S/S piano hinge. Latches are hinged S/S channels at the top and bottom of each door. Door swing 270 degrees to lie flush with the cart ends when open.Finish
Carts are anodized to a film thickness of 8 to 10 microns after completion of fabrication and all welding procedures. (conforms to military spec. 4-8625 type 2 class 1)Casters
Casters are top quality 6" diameter, non marking, with 600lb ea. rated capacity, 2 fixed and two swivel, with fixed casters mounted LHE of cart. Casters are spaces 24" center to center.Bumpers
